Prep Time 5 minutes mins
Cook Time 25 minutes mins
Total Time 30 minutes mins
- 1 cup sourdough starter- discard or active (200 grams)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup finely shredded parmesan cheese
Preheat your oven to 350℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Mix room temperature discard, melted butter, and salt in a medium bowl
Pour onto lined baking sheet and use an offset spatula to spread it across the parchment as thinly as possible
Bake for 10 minutes
Take out and using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, score the whole sheet into your desired cracker shape
Continue to bake for 10-15 minutes until they're lightly browned and crispy, turning the baking sheet as needed to ensure even baking
Let cool and break apart into crackers
Once they're completely cooled, store in an airtight container
- If you have a pretty cutter of some sort that would really elevate the look of these crackers and turn them from a simple everyday snack to a fancy addition to a charcuterie board
- These crackers are super versatile and can be cut into most any shape and paired with endless toppings
- I store these in a large mason jar and they keep well up to a week
